It is our great pleasure to announce that the 10th Conference of Asia-Pacific Association of Chemical Ecologists (APACE) will be held in Hangzhou, China, on October 9-13, 2019. This conference will be jointly organized by the Zhejiang University, China Jiliang University, Tea Research Institute and Plant Protection Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
The theme of the conference is “Chemical Ecology: Deciphering the Nature of Life Interactions”. It emphasizes the ubiquitous chemically-mediated interactions among organisms that shape phenotypes of organisms in nature, including individual behavior and performance, biotic interactions, and community compositions. Elucidation of these interactions will deepen the understanding of nature and develop new environment-friendly means for population, community, and ecosystem management to make life harmonious.
The conference will take place at the First World Hotel, in one of the most beautiful cities Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Hangzhou was also the capital city of ancient China during the Southern Song dynasty. It is not only renowned for its historic relics and natural beauty, but also considered a hub for innovative technologies, China’s ‘Silicon Valley’. We hope that you will all enjoy your staying in Hangzhou and leave you with an unforgettable memory!
We are looking forward to your participation!
